  • Relaxing Music

How can music impact our quality of life?

Recently, researchers looked at the impact of music interventions on health-related quality of life, and tried to answer the question about the best way to help make that shift toward release, relaxation, and rehabilitation. This recent systematic review and meta-analysis (a study of studies) showed that the use of music interventions (listening to music, singing, and music therapy) can create significant improvements in mental health, and smaller improvements in physical health–related quality of life. While the researchers found a positive impact on the psychological quality of life, they found no one best intervention or "dose" of music that works best for all people.

  • Spiritual Wellbeing

    Body, Soul & Spirit.

It is by our body that we function. It’s through our bodies that we connect to the physical world with our five senses.

Our soul is what gives us our personality & it’s through our soul that we live out our relationships with other people & with ourselves. Our soul has three major components; our mind, will & emotions.

It’s in our spirit that we have meaning and purpose in life. Our spirit gives an intuition between right & wrong. The human spirit is the deepest part of a person.

The Bible teaches that we are created by God & affirms that there is a strong connection between our physical, emotional and spiritual health. For example it is written, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones” ~ Proverbs 17:22. This verse tells us that the conditions of our souls and spirits affect our physical health.

Do you believe that your body, soul & spirit are all connected? Do you want to know more about your spiritual wellbeing? Have you ever thought about why you exist? Do you know your purpose in life? Have you considered what happens after you die?
